Wellbeing Services, run by Worcester City Primary Care Network, offers non-medical support to help you manage everyday life and improve wellbeing. The service combines Social Prescribing and Health and Wellbeing Coaching to address practical and emotional needs. With Social Prescribing, a dedicated Social Prescriber will work with you to understand what’s affecting your life and connect you with local services and activities. They can help with housing issues, access to food banks and energy vouchers, applying for benefits, budgeting and debt management, employment/education/volunteering, and finding social groups or activities. Sessions are patient-centered, supportive and goal‑oriented, and can be delivered by phone, video call, or in person. You may have up to six appointments for the same issue, and if something else comes up later you can contact us again. Health and Wellbeing Coaching offers up to six sessions to help with mild to moderate anxiety, stress, low mood, low self‑esteem, confidence building, coping with grief, and general wellbeing. Coaching is forward‑focused and not a substitute for counselling or therapy. A six‑week Wellbeing Group is also available. Access: If you are registered with a Worcester City GP and aged 18+, you can access Wellbeing Services by asking your GP or by self-referral. To self-refer, fill out the Self Referral Form or call 01905 673859 (open 8:30am–4pm, Monday to Friday) or email hwicb.worcestercityslwservices@nhs.net. Contact: Turnpike House, 37 Newtown Road, Worcester, WR5 1EZ. The service is not aimed at crisis support; urgent mental health concerns should contact NHS Urgent Mental Health Helpline, Samaritans, or Shout as listed on the page.
