Find your way into work or volunteering with Lifecraft's Work + Wellbeing service.
This service is designed for adults (18+) who have experienced mental health issues and are ready to explore employment, volunteering, or other opportunities. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, paid, or volunteer roles, our friendly team will help you build the skills and confidence to succeed.
- Personalised support: We start with a chat to understand your goals and needs. Support can include career exploration, CV and cover letter writing, job and volunteer search, application help, interview preparation, and ongoing support once you start your new role.
- Flexible sessions: Meet as often or as little as you need—there's no set number of sessions.
- Transition support: Our help continues after you start your new role, ensuring you feel confident and supported.
- Opportunities within Lifecraft: If you're not ready to work or volunteer in the wider community, we offer volunteer and part-time member employee roles within Lifecraft.
- Accompanied introductions: Nervous about approaching other organisations? We can help you make first contact and accompany you to introductions or taster sessions.
Eligibility: Open to anyone aged 18+ with experience of mental health issues. You do not need to be a Lifecraft member.
Confidentiality: Your participation is confidential and will not be shared with the job centre or others without your consent.
Location: Services are available across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Please check our opening hours before visiting.
Get in touch: Contact Britt, our Work + Wellbeing Officer, to learn more or arrange a meeting to discuss your options. No commitment necessary.
