☕ Sip, Chat & Connect – A Welcoming, Supportive Space for Women Survivors

Join us for Coffee & A Catch Up, a safe and supportive space for women survivors of abuse. Open to women currently on, or who have completed, our 12-week programme, this session is designed to provide a relaxed environment to connect, share experiences, and enjoy friendly conversation.

Children are welcome, and there will be hot drinks, light refreshments, and an opportunity to meet others who understand your journey.

A small £2 contribution helps cover supplies.

Hosted by Rise of the Rose at The Women’s Hub, Barking Learning Centre, sessions run Wednesdays during term time, 11am–1pm. Book via Eventbrite, email werisedah@gmail.com, or through your Rise of the Rose support worker.

Attendee Criteria – Coffee & A Catch Up

We warmly welcome women survivors of abuse to join our Coffee & A Catch Up sessions. To ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable space for everyone, please note the following:

Women only: These sessions are for women who are currently on, or have completed, our 12-week Rise of the Rose Programme as well as women who are survivors of abuse.

Children welcome: You are welcome to bring your children, though parents remain responsible for them at all times.

Respect & confidentiality: What is shared in the session stays in the session. Please speak kindly, listen actively, and respect everyone’s boundaries.

Participation is optional: Feel free to chat, listen, or simply enjoy a coffee in a relaxed atmosphere.
