Generalist Advice and Info for Harrow Residents

Citizens Advice Harrow is a local charity which provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone who lives in the borough of Harrow (unless eligible for the Macmillan Welfare Benefits project that covers Brent, Harrow and Ealing residents).

Our generalist advisers can advise on welfare benefits, debt, employment, housing, consumer. We have a lot of information for people to self-help, visit: citizensadvice.org.uk

We will make at least 3 attempts to contact a client who is referred generally, we always call from a withheld number. We aim to respond to referrals and contacts within 5 working days where possible. When referring, please let us know whether the client agrees to us leaving a voicemail or sending a text or email to say we are trying to contact them if this is ok.

We suggest telephone contact or contact via email (email webform available after 5pm on weekdays our website). Voluntary sector partners may refer via our website.

As of 3rd April 2023 we will be delivering a Welfare Benefits Advice Project in partnership with Macmillan Cancer support for residents of Brent, Harrow and Ealing who are affected by cancer. See our website for details.

Service access criteria: Clients must be resident in the London Borough of Harrow to use our service. There are exceptions if the clients fall under a live project (see our website for details).
