Promise Inclusion offers a wide range of activities and services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in the Wokingham and Bracknell Forest Boroughs. Our goal is to help every individual have fun, learn new skills, make friends, and build confidence in a supportive community environment.
What we offer:
- @ The Acorn: A social group for people aged 18+ (including those with complex needs) held at a local community venue in Wokingham.
- Bracknell Social Group: Weekly social group for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism at various venues in Bracknell Forest.
- Paul’s Karaoke: Fun karaoke sessions for people aged 16+ with a learning disability and/or autism, funded by donations.
- Gateway Award: A life skills programme for individuals aged 18+ with mild to moderate learning disabilities and/or autism, with no upper age limit.
All our activities are designed to help participants:
- Socialise and make new friends
- Become more independent
- Build self-esteem and confidence
- Learn and improve skills
Support for Families and Carers: We also offer a range of activities and support for families and carers, including respite activities, peer support, and practical help from our Family Liaison Team.
Who can join? Adults (16 or 18+, depending on the activity) with a learning disability and/or autism living in Wokingham or Bracknell Forest Boroughs. Some activities are open to those with complex needs.
