COATS Crowthorne is a welcoming social centre for older people in the Crowthorne area. Established in 1966, our charity provides a friendly and supportive environment where seniors can meet, socialise, and enjoy a range of activities.
What we offer:
- Companionship and social interaction – Make new friends and enjoy the company of others in a safe, supportive setting.
- Fresh, home-cooked lunches – Enjoy a delicious 2 or 3 course meal for just £7, plus afternoon tea.
- Stimulating activities – Take part in bowls, skittles, bingo, quizzes, keep fit, and more. We also host entertainers, including musicians, speakers, choirs, and slide shows.
- Transport service – If you live in the Crowthorne area, our minibus can pick you up from your front door and bring you to the Centre for just £4 per day.
- Respite for carers – Our services provide valuable support and a break for carers.
Opening hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am–3pm; Friday, 9am–2pm (closed on public holidays).
We are always happy to welcome new visitors. Many of our members say, “I should have done this years ago!”
