**YANA Program Overview**
The YANA program is a free, comprehensive mental health initiative designed for individuals aged 16-29 who have attempted suicide in the past 12 months. This four-part offering includes a six-month Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) program and lifelong aftercare resources.
**Program Components:**
1. **DBT Skills Groups**:
- Duration: Approximately 24 weeks
- Format: Online
- Focus: Practical skills for distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and improving interpersonal relationships.
- Support: Additional phone coaching is available.
2. **DBT Graduate Pathway**:
- Features: Volunteering opportunities to reinforce DBT skills.
- Objective: Enhancing life skills, workplace experience, and recovery.
3. **Braver Together Program**:
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Target Audience: A loved one of a YANA participant or anyone supporting someone who is suicidal.
- Goals: Empower caregivers with skills for self-care and understanding their own responses.
4. **Mindset Resource**:
- Access: Free, live online sessions
- Content: Available on Instagram and YouTube, including videos, animations, and podcasts aimed at improving mental health and resilience.
**Eligibility**: Participants must be aged 16-29 and have attempted suicide in the past year.
