Nonsuch Voles is a friendly volunteer group dedicated to maintaining and improving the beautiful Nonsuch Park. Since 2011, local residents have come together to care for the park’s gardens and woodlands, working closely with Epsom & Ewell Borough Council.
What we do:
- Gardening Group: Meets every Thursday to help keep the Mansion House gardens looking their best with a variety of gardening tasks.
- Woodland Group: Meets every Friday to support coppicing and woodland management in selected areas of the park’s woodlands.
- Wood-craft Sales: Volunteers use coppiced wood to make small items such as stools, spoons, key-rings, chairs, and kindling, which are sold to raise funds for the group’s running costs.
Whether you’re interested in gardening, woodland conservation, or traditional wood crafts, there’s a place for you in the Nonsuch Voles. Volunteering is a great way to connect with others, learn new skills, and make a positive impact on your local environment.
New volunteers are always welcome! No experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.
