Our 24/7 Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Line is here for anyone aged 16+ in England and Wales who has been affected by rape, child sexual abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or any other form of sexual violence.
We offer:
- Free, confidential emotional support via phone or online chat, available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
- Specialist, trained staff who will listen, believe you, and answer any questions you have.
- Support whether the incident happened recently or a long time ago, and whether you are ready to talk or just want to explore your feelings.
- Guidance for those supporting a victim or survivor, with resources and self-care tips.
You do not need to have all the answers or even the words to reach out. We will never think you are wasting our time, and what you share is completely up to you.
This service is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent medical help, please call 999.
For longer-term support, our member Rape Crisis centres may be able to offer counselling or other services. We also provide self-help tools and information to help you on your journey.
