**Access and Assessment Service for Community Mental Health – Barking and Dagenham** **Overview:** Our Access and Assessment Service caters to adults aged 18 and over who require community mental health services in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Service access criteria: People whose primary presentation is drug or alcohol dependence, learning disability or any organic dysfunction. People who are currently being seen in secondary care services or who are on CPA People with no recourse to public funds will usually not be accepted unless there are other factors which indicate that they should be accepted.
