Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering provides a free, independent and confidential Information and Advice service for older people, their relatives, carers and friends. Our advisers can help with welfare benefits, community care, leisure and health, and offer guidance on money matters and daily living concerns. The service is available across our three local offices in Ilford (Main Office, 4th Floor, 103 Cranbrook Road, Ilford, IG1 4PU), Havering (Romford) and Barking & Dagenham (The Ripple Centre). Access is via telephone or in person. How to access: call our main switchboard for Information and Advice on 020 8220 6000 (open 10am–2pm for information and appointments), or contact the Havering office at 07375 535655 for telephone advice, drop‑in and appointments; you can also use the referral form on this page. When you first contact us we will collect your details for a referral, and, if an Advice Worker is available, carry out a quick Initial Assessment to understand your circumstances and ensure the most appropriate support is provided. We also provide links to Local and National Guides with information on welfare benefits, cost of living, energy and related topics. Please note, this service is not available outside Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering – Head Office's catchment area.
