Free, confidential, and independent information and advice for older people, their relatives, carers, and friends in Redbridge, Barking & Havering.

Our friendly team is here to help you navigate a wide range of issues affecting older people, including:

• Welfare benefits – understanding your entitlements and how to claim
• Community care – support with accessing local services and care options
• Leisure and health – information on staying active and well

We offer telephone advice, drop-in sessions, and appointments at our main office and local branches. When you contact us, we’ll take your details for a referral and, if available, an Advice Worker will carry out a quick Initial Assessment to ensure you get the right support tailored to your needs.

How to access our service:

• Call us between 9am – 3pm, Monday to Friday, to speak to our team or book an appointment.
• Email us for advice or to arrange a visit.
• Visit our offices in Ilford, Romford, or Barking during opening hours for in-person support.

Our service is completely free of charge and available to people living in the Redbridge, Barking & Havering area only.

• Havering Office (Romford): Community Reach House, 32-34 High Street, Romford RM1 1HR
  Monday & Thursday, 9am–1pm (Telephone Advice, Drop In & Appointments)
• Barking & Dagenham Office: The Ripple Centre, 121-125 Ripple Road, Barking, IG11 7FN
  Tuesday, 9am–3pm (Telephone Advice, Drop In & Appointments)
