Intercom Trust is a leading LGBT+ led charity supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and non-binary people across the South West. Since 1997, we have worked with thousands of individuals each year to improve wellbeing, inclusion, and community connection.
We offer a wide range of services designed to help LGBT+ people and their families, including:
- Helpline – Confidential support, information, and signposting for any LGBT+ related issue.
- Support & Advocacy – Person-centred, client-led help with homophobic and transphobic prejudice, crime, and discrimination.
- Counselling – Safe, non-judgmental space to talk through your experiences and feelings with trained professionals.
- Youth Groups & School Groups – Social and support groups for young LGBT+ people, helping them connect and thrive.
- Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support – Specialist help for LGBT+ people experiencing abuse.
- LGBT+ Families – Support and events for LGBT+ parents, carers, and their children.
We also provide LGBT+ training, consultancy, and conferences for organisations and professionals, helping to create more inclusive environments.
Our approach is inclusive, respectful, and non-judgmental. We do not provide medical advice or encourage any particular path; instead, we empower you to make your own choices in a safe space.
All services are confidential and free of charge. We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
