Friendship Tables

We have been speaking to our local community in Wokingham Borough and identified places where a warm welcome is offered and there is someone to have a chat with.  We've called them Friendship Tables and we want to spread the word about the kind support available to help people make connections.  Some places make a small charge for the refreshments that are purchased and others work on donations.  Each Friendship Table is unique in its offering; always a friendly person available to connect with but some also have newspapers, games, quizzes, knitting, jigsaws, word puzzles....  There is no need to book, just turn up but if you would like more information about a specific table or would like help with an introduction on your first visit, please contact Jayne on 07464 834 949 or email jayne@linkvisiting.org
