Northern Devon Foodbank supports local people in North Devon and Torridge who are referred in a time of need. It provides 3 to 7 days of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support through a voucher system.
- Food parcels can include items such as cereal, soup, pasta or rice, tinned foods, UHT milk, fruit juice, tea or coffee and snacks.
- Hygiene and sanitary products are offered at distribution centres where appropriate.
- Some centres can offer fresh and frozen food when available.
- Parcels can usually be adapted for dietary needs, including gluten free, halal or vegetarian.
- Volunteers can listen and offer practical guidance about local support.
