The Source is a welcoming hub run by Barking Churches Unite, dedicated to supporting people across the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham who are facing homelessness, financial hardship, disadvantage, or isolation.
We offer a warm space and safe haven where anyone can drop in for outreach, admin support, signposting to council and community services, food vouchers, wellbeing groups, a postal address for the homeless, a prayer space, and a listening ear.

Our services are free and open to anyone in need. We operate from two locations: Vicarage Field Shopping Centre and Barking Learning Centre.
Opening hours:
- Wellbeing Centre: Mon–Thu, 10:00am–3:00pm
- Community Food Club: Weekdays, 10:00am–3:00pm
- Warehouse: Tue–Thu, 11:30am–1:30pm
- Pitstop: Weekdays, 11:30am–1:30pm
- Baby Bank: Fridays, 10:00am–1:30pm
