Cumbria Deaf and Hearing Loss Services provide dedicated support to d/Deaf and hard of hearing adults across Cumbria. Our friendly team offers information, advice, and training around specialist equipment to help you live more independently and confidently.
How we help:
- One-to-one support delivered in your home, in the community, and at drop-in sessions across the county.
- Specialist equipment advice and support, including help with hearing loops, doorbells, TV units, and alarm clocks.
- Regular events and groups, such as Tinnitus Support Groups and Coffee Morning drop-ins, to connect with others and share experiences.
Who can use this service?
- Adults aged 18+ who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing.
- Family members and carers of people with hearing loss.
Accessing the service:
- Services are available Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
- Contact us by phone or email to refer yourself, a friend, or a client, or to request more information.
- Drop-in sessions and events are held at accessible venues across Cumbria.
