Healthwatch Cambridgeshire is your local health and social care champion. We make sure NHS leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care across Cambridgeshire.
What we offer:
- Opportunities to volunteer and help listen to the experiences of people in your community.
- Meet other people and share your ideas and enthusiasm for improving local health and care services.
- Learn new skills such as research, listening, and report writing.
- Flexible involvement: give as much time as you want, from five minutes to share an experience, to joining regular Health and Care Forums, or volunteering for projects like visiting care settings.
- Roles include Community Listener and Independent member on a social care Partnership Board.
- Full training and support provided for volunteers.
- All public events are free to enter, including regular forums and workshops.
- Volunteering is open to anyone and we pay reasonable out of pocket expenses.
- Our information service is free and independent from the NHS and social care.
