Donated furniture to help those in crisis

Hidden Help is a registered charity in Cornwall that provides free, recycled furniture and household items to people and families in urgent need.

If you, or someone you support, is fleeing domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, a refugee, an ex-prisoner, elderly, long-term sick, or being re-housed with nothing, Hidden Help can assist. We work quickly to set up new homes with donated items, helping restore dignity and comfort.

  • All items are provided free of charge to those referred by Social Services, Housing Officers, Healthcare professionals, and other statutory bodies.
  • We accept donations of furniture and household goods, which are recycled or upcycled for those in need.
  • Electrical items are PAT tested for safety.
  • Our volunteer team responds rapidly to urgent requests, ensuring families and individuals don’t have to start over with nothing.

How to access:

  • Clients must be referred by a professional (see our 'Refer a client' page for details).
  • We deliver items across Cornwall from our base in Scorrier, Redruth.
  • Donations can be dropped off at our warehouse, or collected locally if needed.

We also run a vintage shop to raise funds for our charitable work.
