Join the Cambourne Balkan Dance Club for lively, celebratory folk dances from the Balkan region of South Eastern Europe!
Every week, amateur dancers of all nationalities, ages, and abilities gather in Cambourne to practice traditional dances, mainly from Greece and Bulgaria. These energetic dances are performed in lines or closed circles, often at weddings and festivities.
- Open to everyone – you do not need to live in Cambourne to take part.
- Great for wellbeing – dance is fantastic physical activity, a fun way to meet new people, and a chance to learn or improve a skill.
- Friendly and inclusive – beginners start with easy dances and basic steps, while intermediate dancers enjoy more complex routines after a break.
- No booking required – just turn up in comfortable clothes and shoes and join in!
- Small charge per session – please bring cash for your attendance.
