Peterborough Children in Care Council

The Children in Care Council is a supportive group for young people in care aged 12 and over in Peterborough.

As a member, you can:

  • Share your views and know you are listened to
  • Meet and do fun activities with other young people
  • Make a difference by working on projects and campaigns that matter to you
  • Help organise events and activities for children in care

Members represent all children in care, discuss issues raised by young people, and work together to improve services. You’ll have the chance to tell Senior Managers and Councillors what needs to be done to make things better.

It is free to join the Children in Care Council.

There are also volunteering opportunities, from helping out with activities to admin and more. Contact the Council to find out what’s available.
