**Age Friendly Melksham Overview** Age Friendly Melksham operates within the national Age Friendly Network, aiming to tackle the social, emotional, and practical challenges faced by older adults in our community. Our goal is to help seniors stay connected and lead healthy, active lives. **Services Offered** We provide several vital services to support older adults, including: - **Prescription Deliveries**: We have delivered over 1,721 prescriptions. - **Emergency Shopping**: Our volunteers have completed 1,100 shopping trips for those unable to leave their homes. - **Friendly Phone Calls**: Our outreach includes 4,321 calls to check on individuals' well-being. In the past year, we have assisted 907 individuals, receiving positive feedback, with 94% of users recommending our Friendly Phone Call service. **Eligibility** We are here to help anyone who is: - Vulnerable - Disabled - Struggling with mobility - Shielding or self-isolating - Anxious about going out **Upcoming Services** Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we will launch our Face 2 Face service. This service allows isolated individuals to make mobile video calls to family and friends using an iPad.
