Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Floating Support Service

P3 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Floating Support Service provides practical, tenancy-based support for adults at risk of losing their home or struggling to live independently in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough.

Our friendly team helps you manage and maintain your accommodation, offering advice and support on a range of housing-related issues. We work flexibly to ensure you get the right help at the right time, so you can overcome challenges and continue living independently.

  • Education and employment advice
  • Homelessness prevention
  • Mental health support
  • Substance misuse support

We support people aged 18 and over who are living in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough and are at risk of homelessness, have rent or mortgage arrears, or are having difficulty living independently.

How to access support: You can refer yourself by completing our referral form online or by contacting us directly. We also offer appointments for phone calls or drop-in sessions for Advice and Navigation. Use our Booking Tool to arrange a session and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

This service is commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council and is free to access for eligible individuals.

Our impact in 2024-25:

  • 1,558 people referred into the service
  • 318 people supported with debts and payment plans
  • 190 evictions prevented
  • 397 people supported with setting up a new home or moving to more appropriate accommodation
