Bright Hope's Befriending Service offers supportive, reliable relationships for people who would otherwise be socially isolated in North West Leicestershire.
You will be matched with a volunteer befriender based on your interests, helping you to develop a genuine friendship and enjoy regular companionship.

- A listening ear and someone to talk to
Befriending can help you build confidence, self-esteem, and open up new activities. It may also reduce the need for other services by providing meaningful social contact.

Service access criteria:
Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire works within the locality to support individuals over 18 who have a condition that leads to a reduction in quality of life or who have been diagnosed with a life limiting condition as well as offering support to their partner or carer.
