Verified service

Welcome to the Hinckley Neighbourhood Mental Health cafe, a warm and inclusive haven for individuals grappling with mental health challenges. Our aim is to provide a nurturing environment where people can find solace and support on their journey towards mental well-being.

Find us at the Hinckley Baptist Church, Baptist Walk, Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10 1PR, where our doors swing open wide, inviting anyone in need. Every Wednesday, from 13:00 until 19:00 (last entry 18:30), you're welcome to join us - no referral required, just come on in!

Within our cafe, we offer an array of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each visitor. Our dedicated team provides personalized 1:1 sessions, offering practical coping strategies that empower individuals to navigate their mental health challenges with confidence and resilience. These sessions are an invaluable opportunity for individuals to explore their feelings, fears, and hopes in a safe and confidential setting.

Our recovery workers are here to serve as compassionate guides on your journey to reclaiming a sense of self and purpose. They offer invaluable advice, drawing from their wealth of experience to help you find your way towards healing and growth.

In addition to these services, we understand that mental health struggles can often lead to a sense of isolation and loneliness. To combat this, we provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others who are on similar paths. Sharing experiences and insights with those who understand your struggles can be an incredibly powerful source of support and companionship.

To further foster a sense of community and relaxation, we offer a variety of board games and small paper craft activities. Engaging in these enjoyable pastimes can provide a welcome distraction, a chance for laughter, and an avenue for self-expression.

At the Hinckley Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe, we believe that community plays a vital role in mental well-being. Through our welcoming space, a diverse range of services, and recreational activities, we strive to create an environment where individuals can find solace, strength, and a renewed sense of hope.

Join us on Wednesdays and let us be a part of your journey towards a brighter and more resilient future. You are not alone, and together, we can build a stronger, more empowered community.

If you need urgent mental health support, call our free 24/7 Mental Health Central Access Point on 0808 800 3302. Always call 999 if there is a physical threat to life.

** Please be advised that although this service operates within the church it is provided by Turning Point and is not a church lead service.**
