Bereavement support (Oxfordshire)

Age UK Oxfordshire offers bereavement support groups for older adults in Oxfordshire. The groups provide a welcoming space to be with others who understand what it’s like to adjust to life after the loss of a loved one, including social activities such as regular walks and pub lunches. Booking is essential, and there is no cost to attend. The groups operate across several areas: Cherwell (Banbury – second and fourth Monday of the month; Bicester – third Friday of the month), West Oxfordshire (Carterton – second Wednesday of the month; Witney – third Thursday of the month), Oxford City and surrounding areas (Headington – third Monday of the month), and Vale of White Horse (Abingdon – once a month on a Monday; Grove – first Monday of the month). To find out more or to book a place, please speak to the Community Team by calling 01235 849 434 or emailing community@ageukoxfordshire.org.uk.
