This service is for older adults and other people who want support to live independently at home. Age UK Trading personal alarms are provided by Taking Care and connect to a UK-based Emergency Resolution team 24 hours a day.
- Wear a pendant or wrist alarm and press the button if you need emergency help.
- Choose an alarm for the home and garden, or a GPS option for use at home and when out and about.
- Some alarms can automatically alert the Emergency Resolution Centre if a hard fall is detected.
- The team can speak with you through the alarm equipment and arrange help from family, friends or emergency services.
- Digital home alarms do not need a telephone landline and only need a mains electricity socket.
