The Eddystone Trust offers online peer support groups for people living with HIV in the Southwest. Our groups provide a safe, welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and support each other on your journey to living well with HIV.
What we offer:
- Regular online peer support sessions, facilitated by Eddystone staff.
- Groups for all people living with HIV, as well as dedicated sessions for men, women, newly diagnosed individuals, young people under 35, people new to the UK, and those interested in ageing well with HIV.
- Opportunities to meet others, share stories, and learn from guest speakers.
- A safe space to check in, listen, and be heard—everyone is welcome, even if you just want to listen.
Topics we cover include:
- Medication adherence and attending clinic appointments
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Understanding your HIV status, CD4 count, and viral load
- Sharing your HIV status with family, partners, and loved ones
- Daily living, relationships, and support for newly diagnosed or those new to the UK
- Ageing well with HIV, including supported living and survivor's guilt

Our services are available to anyone living in the Southwest of England; however, please note that certain services may have specific access criteria.
Additionally, please be aware that our support groups are exclusively for individuals living with HIV.
