What is Ashtanga? Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic practice that synchronises breath, movement, and gaze to create a flowing sequence. The practice builds strength, stability, and internal heat, helping to purify the nervous system and calm the mind. Classes follow a set sequence of postures, starting with sun salutations and progressing through standing, seated, and finishing postures.
Class Types:
- Led Ashtanga Classes: Move together through the sequence with guidance and modifications from the teacher.
- Mysore-Style Self-Practice: Practise at your own pace with individual support and adjustments from the teacher. Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.
