Heart of Tamworth offers dedicated support for people experiencing difficulties, especially those facing homelessness. We work in partnership with local organisations and operate from our community hub to provide practical help and advice.
Our Homeless Pathway Support Worker, Terry O’Brien, assists individuals in securing temporary and permanent accommodation. Terry also provides guidance on:
- Managing addiction
- Applying for housing or benefits
- Managing finances and dealing with banks
- Accessing GP practices and The Probation Service
- Support with DWP and other agencies
We are proud members of the Tamworth Homelessness Partnership, working alongside St. Editha’s and Manna House charities to support people who are homeless.
