Being You Leeds offers a wide range of free groups and activities, running 7 days a week—including evenings and weekends—at local venues across Leeds.
Our sessions are fun, welcoming, and based on the interests of group members. Current activities include walking, cycling, arts, knitting, and much more. If you have an idea for a new group, we can support you to set up your own session or even help fund your idea through our Small Sparks initiative.
Who can join? Anyone in Leeds aged 16+ is welcome. All groups aim to help people stay well, learn new things, have fun, and connect with others in their communities.
- Booking is essential—please contact the staff member listed on the activity you’re interested in to reserve your place.
- If you’re feeling anxious or nervous about joining, our friendly local befrienders can help you attend a group for the first time, build confidence, plan your journey, and integrate with other members.
- All staff and volunteers are trained to support you and can help you access more specialist mental health support if needed.
Important: Being You Leeds is not a crisis service, but we are here to support your wellbeing and help you connect with others.
