Assistive equipment to help with hearing loss (NOT HEARING AIDS)
Verified service

We do not carry our hearing tests or prescribe hearing aids.  Please contact your GP and ask for a referral to your local NHS audiology department who will carry out a hearing test and prescribe aids if appropriate.

However, if you pay your Council tax to KCC and are over the age of 18, you are entitled to a free assessment of need for other assistive equipment and, if eligible, this is given to you free of charge on long term loan. Equipment is also available to purchase.
