Our Community Respiratory and Home Oxygen Service is dedicated to supporting adults living with chronic lung conditions in North Kent. Led by a clinical nurse specialist, our warm and compassionate team provides thorough assessments and tailored treatment plans to help you breathe easier and live better.
What we offer:
- Comprehensive respiratory assessments, including spirometry and oxygen assessments
- Urgent unwell service with same-day reviews (Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:00)
- Routine patient assessments for housebound patients (home visits), including clinical objective assessment, spirometry, and pulse oximetry
- Clinic-based assessments at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital and Sheppey Community Hospital
- Oxygen assessment clinics with capillary blood gas sampling
- Telephone advice for patients and carers
How to access: You will need a referral from your GP or another healthcare professional. Once your referral is received, our team will triage it and contact you to arrange a clinic appointment or a home visit, depending on your needs.
Availability: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. We are committed to making you feel supported and cared for, whether you visit us in clinic or require a home visit.
Service area: We serve adults in Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley, and Swale.
