Carol Anne Netball Club

Carol Anne Netball Club was founded in 1997 and now boast 8 senior teams, across 5 divisions in the North Devon Netball League. Our top team Diamonds competes in the South West regional league, travelling throughout the South West. Carol Anne Netball Club is based at Park School, Barnstaple, but caters for the larger community of North Devon.

Our thriving Juniors section is made up on U9’s, U11’s, U12’s & U14’s with a current membership of over 110 players.

We welcome all ages and abilities, with players age between 7 and 60 plus (its rude to ask their exact age!  )

Club members train on a Tuesday evening at The Park School, Barnstaple

The club prides itself in developing our players both on and off the court we encourage all members to take up various opportunities and roles  such as coaching, umpiring, committee members, administrators and treasurers.

In particular we have a scheme aimed at our U18 members;  Netball Leaders where they are rewarded for the volunteering hours they contribute to the club. Young volunteers record their hours giving back to the club and becoming a vital part of our netballing community.

Carol Anne Netball  has been recognised by England Netball as we have maintained a Gold status in the CAPS accreditation for the last 8 years. By holding the Gold status it shows that the club has met high standards in club management, safeguarding, playing opportunities and community participation.

There is a monthly fee for joining the club to cover coaching and taking part in games. If you wish to play competitively in one of the teams you will also need to join England Netball to cover your insurance.
